HELP!!  Trying to recover Public Address books from Exchange 2003 and recover to 2010
Our Sysadmin didnt migrate our Public Folder for our "Contacts" for all outside clients and we have a tape that we can recover from, but i am needing help once the recovery is made as to how to get Exchange 2010 to see or even extract the contacts to a new Public folder in Exchange 2010. Any ideas on this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Your backup software may have the ability to 'restore to an alternate location'. This could be the new 2010 PF database, or perhaps a PST file where you then restore yourself manually. Mike Crowley | MVP My Blog -- Planet Technologies

Hi, Which software is used to back up the Public Folder, NTBackup or other third party software? If it is NTBackup, you may need a recovery server. After restoring the data you will have to use Outlook to Extract it to a PST file and then move the PST file back. Thanks.
